Welcome to Sidco Finance

Sidco Finance was established to provide clear, practical lending advice backed by real business experience.

Led by Director David Sidwell, Sidco Finance is built on the belief that strong finance outcomes start with genuinely understanding the person or business behind the numbers. Every client’s situation is different, and lending solutions should reflect real-world circumstances, not just policy guidelines.

David holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Management, combining formal qualifications with decades of hands-on business experience. This blend allows him to approach lending with both technical knowledge and practical insight.

We take the time to listen, explain options clearly, and structure finance that supports both immediate needs and longer-term goals.

Business experience that makes a difference

David brings more than 28 years of experience in small-business environments, including over 15 years running his own businesses.

Beginning in a family-run printing business in the late 1990s, David developed a strong foundation in business operations, cash flow management and customer service. In 2010, he built his own business from the ground up, which later expanded into multiple ventures.

Throughout his career, David worked closely with farmers, self-employed operators and small business owners, where trust, familiarity and long-term relationships were essential. These experiences shaped a practical understanding of variable income, seasonal cash flow, and the importance of finance structures that actually work in day-to-day business life.

This background provides a deep appreciation of the pressures business owners face and the value of flexible, well-considered lending solutions.
